Lonnie answered all of our questions with patience, arrived on time every day, and finished our kitchen remodel on time and on budget. He was great at communicating about problems as they arose and giving us options to consider. They treated our property with respect and did a great job keeping the site clean during construction. LR Contracting went above and beyond re-roofing our house and garage. Our house was built in the 1960’s and has a large dormer in the rear, a front entry, and a valley. Both roofs are steep and the house had THREE layers of older roofing on. The roofs were torn off with zero damage to the landscaping, yard, siding, etc. Water-damaged parts of the roofing boards were replaced, roofs were felted and ice guard placed in the valley and edges of all the roofs. They placed new metal edging around the perimeters of the roofs. They replaced the air vents at the peaks of all of the roofs (except the unheated garage), cut back the siding that abutted the dorm and front entry way, then flashed these. Finally they put up the architectural shingles (gorgeous, brown and grey mix), then topped all the eaves and eave vents with shingle ridge. The employees show up on time, work very hard every day, COMMUNICATED with us (very important!) very pleasantly. Asked us our preference regarding some issues that came up, and consulted with the head contractor (Lonnie) regarding difficult issues that came up. In fact, the contractor climbed onto the roof to help with a particularly perplexing problem. I was just so impressed with their work ethic and professionalism that I needed to get this in writing so other people will realize what great work they do! Our house looks like a million bucks! We are so glad we chose this contracting company. I’m also happy to give anyone a reference or show them the great job they did on our house.
